Dallas
"Dallas" was the a-side of Steely Dan's first single. The single is infamous due to the fact it was quickly recalled and both sides of the single were disowned by the group. "Dallas" and its b-side "Sail The Waterway" were left off the Citizen Steely Dan box set because Becker and Fagen deemed the tracks as "stinko". Non-promotional stock copies of the single are incredibly hard to find and fetch hundreds of dollars at auction.
"Dallas" was allegedly played in Texas during the 1972 tour, particularly at the University of Arlington. It is unknown if the track was played outside of Texas, and "Dallas" was likely dropped after the Arlington show.
